Studio Headshot Sessions | What to Expect
Studio headshot work is designed as a short, focused sitting to create one strong, intentional portrait. An assistant is present to support lighting and flow. Images are photographed tethered, allowing for collaborative selection of one primary image during the sitting. The selected image is delivered as a high-resolution digital file suitable for professional use. The sitting lasts approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Images are delivered without retouching unless requested.
Additional Images
Additional images may be purchased, with selection and any requested refinement reviewed after the session.
Image Refinement
Image refinement is optional and applied only when requested. Refinement choices are reviewed together after the session.
Platform-Specific Optimization
Platform-specific crops and optimizations are available upon request and are selected after booking. This option is addressed in a follow-up planning questionnaire, where you may share website links, platform requirements, or preferred image ratios. Fees are applied as separate invoice line items.
Optional Image Optimization
For clients using headshots in professional or commercial contexts, optional image optimization and metadata embedding are available. These options are discussed after booking and selected only if useful for your intended platforms or website.
Reference Images (Optional)
If you have a specific look or style in mind, you’re welcome to share one or two reference images after booking. These are used as visual context to understand your preferences, not as exact templates.
All references are reviewed in advance to confirm alignment with my studio approach and current offerings. If a request falls outside what I can support, I’ll let you know before your session.
