What to Wear to Your Boudoir Shoot | Jamie Solorio Studio
What to Wear for your Boudoir Experience?
As you might imagine, there are countless options when choosing what to wear for your boudoir session. But finding the right pieces does not necessarily mean buying something new.
Explore your own closet or borrow from a friend, looking at familiar clothing with a more sensual and creative eye. A simple cropped T-shirt, an oversized button-down, a favorite slip, or a beautiful heirloom lingerie piece can all photograph beautifully.

Need more ideas after looking through your own pieces. Below are a few links to places to buy lingerie from luxurious independent lingerie designers to fast fashion.
Also, I do have a few sexy pieces in my studio out now for guest use. Be sure to bring a selection of underwear in different colors to pair with what I have. Most of my pieces are black, white, red, and creams ranging in sizes from small to large. - need to add this to boudoir vetting questionnaire, size… maybe not vetting…need to figure out.
Overall Tips:
Bring your clothing and lingerie on hangers with a garment bag. Please do not smash clothing into a small bag, this can create wrinkles and fold lines. - but don’t have hangin rack yet…need to fix
Be sure to wear loose-fitting clothing or ANYTHING that could leave marks on your body; think bras, undies, sock, etc
Please eat and drink lots of water before your shoot.
Please cut all tags out of clothing, those tags always sneak out.
Know that sometimes spray tans can look orange
Mani/Pedi is great, but be sure to coordinate with your clothing choices.
Sheer and lace bras are recommended over full coverage bras.
